Great giveaway, Spice. My favorite tip lately is to plan out meals, shop with a list and stick to it!

wow, what a cool giveaway! πŸ™‚

I always check the sale sheet each week and plan my meals based on the deals and what I already have at home (pantry items, stuff in the freezer, etc). It saves me SO much money!

WOW a great give away! I shop at Kroger every weekend πŸ™‚

I would love to win this because groceries are expensive! My best money saving tip is to not stockpile the fridge full of stuff because it forces me to get creative with what I have in the freezer, and I have A LOT in the freezer.

Thanks for your nice words on my random attempt at Indian food yesterday, it looks nothing like your delicious creations so I couldn’t possibly consider it REAL Indian food. πŸ™‚

my money saving tip is to NEVER go shopping when you’re hungry or you want it all…but don’t go when you’re stuffed or nothing will look good.

My best tip is to go online and look up store ads at the beginning of the week and write down where the best deals are and do your shopping accordingly. I also try to stack as many coupons as possible!

I don’t have a blog so I just emailed you a second saving tip!

Some people may not know that at Kroger (not sure of other stores’ policies) you can purchase one BOGO item for half the price rather than buying two at the single full price. This is especially useful for items you don’t consume as frequently.

Wendi P March 11, 2010 at 6:18 pm

I meal plan with whatever is on sale in that week’s ad AND use coupons, too.

Nancy March 14, 2010 at 1:43 pm

I check the weekly sale papers, and then match coupons and rebates. I love that you can download coupons to your Kroger card – much easier.

My nearest Kroger Family store is 0.8 miles away. I use ad-matching, manufacturers coupons, and store coupons to save the most money on sale items. *Thanks* for the giveaway!

I shop at Kroger every week, so this would be great!
My best money saving tip is to carefully read all the per unit prices. I didn’t realize until last year that sometimes the value size is not the cheapest!
Thanks! πŸ™‚
