I came down for a glass of water and ended up packing a lunch! Not bad!
Excuse the weird lighting — it’s almost 10 and I was taking it in the family room with our old camera.
This was all stuff that was ready to go in the fridge. I packed the last of the Halloween pasta — I love how cute and colorful this is! There’s some fresh spinach, pasta sauce, and a chicken andouille sausage to go with it. I love these sausages, we get them from Costco — they’re ready to eat and are only 110 calories! Then there’ s some carrot slices and the little container has some Parmesan/Asiago/Romano blend to go with my pasta. To finish things off, some fresh strawberries and a Dove dark chocolate square that’s hiding behind the silverware.
Theoretically the little containers can be microwaved, but I’ll probably just dump the pasta, sauce, spinach, and sausage in a bowl at work and heat that up instead.
After my pancake failure this morning, I have to confess that after we left the wedding this evening, since we were a couple blocks from a Krispy Kreme I did have us make a little detour to get some doughnuts. While the pumpkin pancakes we were able to eat this morning were good, the pumpkin doughnut was even better. Just being honest! 🙂

Nabeela — It’s amazing what happens when I get some free time finally! As to the pumpkin doughnuts, my husband threw out the leftovers the next day without telling me. Hmmph.
Brandi — Thank you! I like doing them because it almost forces me to pack healthy, colorful foods.
