The Ides of March

by spiceaholic on March 15, 2010

Beware indeed.

This morning did NOT start out well, with my body fighting the time change and a minor fender bender in the parking garage at work.  I’m going to blame that on the time change too.

I’m fine, Zoom-Zoom is fine, the other car is fine, but I gave the other driver my info anyway just to assuage my conscience.

At least I started my eating off well!

I had some Trader Joe’s non-fat honey Greek yogurt with some sliced strawberries. Sadly, I didn’t finish it since I didn’t really like the yogurt. For some reason, I don’t like the Greek yogurts with honey already added. So I should probably quit buying them.

Before lunch I went to Target to pick up some stuff we needed around the house and I’m very happy to report that I spent less than $25! That almost never happens. I usually spend at least $50 or $100 there because I keep putting things I don’t need in my cart.

Excuse the craptacular quality of my pics, I didn’t have my camera today, just my iPhone. Lunch was some of the leftover pizza I made this weekend, along with some broccoli that was very much on its way out.

I had some of these to round out lunch.

I usually don’t like Hershey’s chocolate, but I like their special dark chocolate. I got the kind with almonds in it in an attempt to make it semi-healthy, since dark chocolate and almonds are considered super-foods. Nice try, right? 😀

My late afternoon snack was some Sargento light string cheese.

I actually managed to leave work early enough to take advantage of the light, but I’d still rather have my hour of sleep back. Yes, I’m going to keep bitching about it until my body adjusts.

Dinner was leftover chili and a microwave baked potato topped with shredded habanero cheese.

Again, excuse the crappy quality.

On the way home from work, I stopped at Publix to pick up a couple things and came across some dill pickle flavored potato chips! I love these! Lays used to make some a while back but I haven’t seen them in a long time. Luckily I found these:

If you like salt and vinegar chips, you’ll like these. And if your husband hates salt and vinegar chips, he’ll hate these too. Which is why I have placed the open bag right next to him. Hee hee.

I will post the winner of the gift card giveaway tomorrow, so check back then.

This time change thing has totally disoriented me too! Sorry about your car, accidents are the worst. But I’m glad you weren’t injured!

Great job at Target…I can’t get out of there without spending at least $75 on stuff I really don’t need! It’s an addiction. 🙂

You poor dear!! I’m so sorry to hear about your fender-bender…

Thanks guys! The parking garage mishap really wasn’t that bad, more like a “tapping.” 🙂
