Just in case it wasn’t completely obvious, I haven’t been blogging much lately. I could try to justify why, but it really just boils down to me needing a break for various reasons.
If you’ve been reading Spice’s Bites for a while, you know I go through phases where I post what I eat and phases where I don’t. I think I’m heading into a phase where I want to post what I eat again, but I want to do it in a way that’s not tedious and forced. I like doing daily eats posts because it’s a form of food journaling for me and helps when I decide to get back on the healthy eating wagon for the umpteenth time. However, I don’t like doing them because they’re kinda boring to write — especially when there are days where I repeat meals. So I think I’m just going to start with posting the pictures and a description and not try to force myself into writing a whole post about my day, because I’m really pretty boring!
I hope that by doing this, not only will it help me with my eating, but it’ll get me back in the habit of posting and that soon I’ll be able to do more “fun” posts.
Sorry I haven’t been around as much, we’ll just say 2013 has been a challenging year, and that I’m looking forward to next year!
