FYI, “Heath English Toffee” was the original, first sold with that name in 1928 by the Heath family that created it in their own candy business. Hershey came along more than 50 years later with their toffee bar, Skor in 1981.

In 1996 Hershey acquired the Leaf company, (who had previously bought the Heath candy business from the Heath family), and thus came to own two different toffee candy brands…

I think I’ve only had Skor bars a couple of times. I’ve definitely had Heath bars more often. Now, I’m wondering if Heath’s are really my favorite or just more readily available.
