It’s getting pretty busy at work with the 9/15 and 10/15 tax deadlines coming up, so I’m working long hours and Saturdays. You know the drill, this means I won’t get a chance to post much or comment much, but I’ll check in when I can.
I’m also trying to get back into a good eating routine, since the past few weeks have hardly been routine! I can’t keep eating out so much, I’m actually getting sick of it, believe it or not.
A couple days ago, I noticed a Weight Watchers location near work and I popped in to see what their schedules were — they have meetings every day! Very convenient and very tempting. I know I keep joining and quitting and switching between meetings and online only. I think if it’s close to work and they have meetings every day it might be easier to stick with it, but I don’t know that this is the right time to start something new when it’s stressful at work. But then again there never is a good time. Welcome to the world of being a grown up!
Hope to see you guys around sooner rather than later! Have a great weekend!

I remember reading how difficult it was for you to keep from snacking during tax season last year. I am like you too….I snack when I am stressed(or bored!). But as you said, there never is a better time to start eating healthy. Try substituting the hell out of stuff you purchase at restaurants
Take lots of healthy snacks with you to work. Eat good meals(complex carbs, lean protien, good fats) so you feel full longer. Hopefully you’ll get through this season without much damage to your resolution
All the best!
Hi Nabeela!
Thanks for the support! I am definitely going to start cutting down on going out — I’ve been saying yes because I’m new and want to get to know people better, but can’t do it forever! And today I’m going to sit down and plan out meals and snacks so I have a plan.
Hope everything’s going well with you.
