I hope I didn’t scare you guys off with all that food I ate yesterday!
Not going to feel bad about it, I know everyone has those bottom-less pit days!
Enough about yesterday, on to today!
Oh yes, the breakfast sandwich again. It’s just such a reliable breakfast for me.
The frozen meal in the fridge at work had zero appeal for me, so I decided to check out the cafe downstairs in the lobby. I ended up getting a turkey burger on a whole wheat bun and fries.
I needed something sweet after lunch so I did!
Check out the pretzel and chocolate chunks in there!
I had this a little before 5, just as I was winding up for the day. Doesn’t that look so good?
Blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and some dried apricots added for color.
I ran some errands after work and managed to avoid most of the nasty traffic ensnaring most of Atlanta. I was hungry by the time I got home and knew I needed something quick but filling. But not heavy.
Call it a mess, call it ugly, I called it dinner. This was a variation of the Confetti Stir-Fry I posted forever ago (it was one of my first posts!).
This time, I used ground turkey, a bag of broccoli slaw, and a bag of coleslaw mix. For seasoning, I used soy sauce, garlic, ginger, 5-spice powder, Trader Joe’s Black Pepper sauce, chili sauce, and sesame oil.
I didn’t even miss the rice in this. And I confess to just finishing a second bowl of this. Time to bring this back in the weeknight dinner rotation.
I decided I wanted something sweet after dinner, so I finally decided to try these out.
I’m usually not a fan of diet-y frozen desserts because they taste so fake, but this was not bad at all! I do love the combo of raspberry and dark chocolate, and the texture and taste didn’t disappoint. Now, if they would do an orange and dark chocolate bar, I would be VERY happy. Hint, hint!
Time to finish my tv-watching! See you tomorrow!
