When we were in high school, my friend Kristen worked at Romano’s Macaroni Grill. At the time (not sure if they still do this), if it was your birthday, you would get serenaded by your waitress – they’d sing “Happy Birthday” in Italian. Our group of friends went through a period where we would do birthday dinners there so that she could be our waitress – she has a beautiful voice, so it was a real treat.
We also liked going there because of the white paper tablecloths and crayons, which provided plenty of entertainment.
Okay, and the food was really good too!
It’s been many years since we’ve all been there as a group and there isn’t a location near where Mr. Spice and I live right now, so I was excited to hear about the new Romano’s Macaroni Grill frozen entrées!
As a member of MyBlogSpark, I was given the chance to try one of the new entrées recently and I also got a nifty serving bowl and pasta tongs!
I was sent the Grilled Chicken Florentine flavor to try out. I decided to save it for a night when I was too tired from work to cook. Since I’m in the middle of fall tax deadlines, there have been many of those nights recently. However, I decided tonight was the night!
This couldn’t be easier to prepare. You just place the contents of the bag in a large nonstick pan with 1/3 cup milk and cook covered on medium heat for about 12-15 minutes.
Soon, I was enjoying a nice bowl full of farfalle pasta with spinach and grilled chicken breast in a creamy parmesan and garlic sauce.
Don’t tell me that doesn’t look good. I won’t believe you.
So now to the good part! Romano’s Macaroni Grill and MyBlogSpark are going to send one lucky reader their own sample of the new frozen entrées and their own serving bowl and pasta tongs!

Although it’d probably be hard to maintain the flavor of frozen fish, I love the grilled salmon with spinach orzo at Macaroni Grill and would love that to be a future frozen entree!
I have never been to a Macaroni Grill because there are none near me but I did see these in the grocery store the other day.
We used to have a Macaroni Grill, but it closed down. My husband is Italian so not sure he would even go there – but your dinner looks delicious! Great to have on hand if you are short on time!
