I gotta keep this short and sweet, it’s already close to bedtime!
Breakfast was my usual breakfast sandwich.
The sausage patty is playing peekaboo!
Lunch was what I was supposed to have yesterday — slow-cooker veggie soup and a Lean Cuisine pizza. I added some spinach to the pizza.
And I just realized I left yesterday’s leftovers from Maggiano’s at work again . . .
Snacks were a Special K protein snack bar, an unpictured and very bruised pear, and some Sargento light string cheese with Special K multigrain crackers.
The Special K stuff was on sale at Target, so I gave it a shot. The snack bar is okay, but no way would it be a snack by itself, I would have to eat it with something. The crackers aren’t bad — 90 calories for 17, and I had about 8. The 8 crackers and the light string cheese (50 calories) make for a nice 100-calorie snack.
Had to make it home in time for our HOA meeting. There wasn’t enough time to eat dinner before, so Mr. Spice and I each grabbed a blueberry scone-muffin to tide us over in the meantime.
After the meeting, it was already past 8, so I declared a fend for yourself night. I had some baked frozen fries and a Boca Chick’n patty on a sandwich thin. Mr. Spice had some frozen gyoza and some udon noodle cup.
And that’s it for today! Depending on what the scale says at home in the morning, I’ll either weigh in tomorrow or on Friday. 🙂

The leftover soup looks delicious. Those fries look so tempting 🙂
The soup is pretty good! How did yours turn out?
That scone-muffin looks excellent! Do you have the recipe? (I looked for it, but couldn’t find it! :))
Hi Allison! Sadly, there is no recipe. A friend gave me blueberry scone mix for my birthday and I just baked it in muffin tins. Although I guess that’s a sort of far-fetched recipe. 🙂
