Valentine’s Day 2011

by spiceaholic on February 14, 2011

Hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day, however you choose to celebrate it!

Mr. Spice and I decided to make dinner at home tonight and take it easy.

Rib-eye steaks, roasted zucchini and mushrooms, and Alexia olive oil, rosemary, and garlic oven fries, courtesy of the FoodBuzz Tastemaker Program.  I had a coupon to try an Alexia product for free, and I thought these would make a quick and easy side for our dinner tonight.  Great choice!

For dessert, sweet and simple is best!

These chocolate-covered strawberries are the easiest things!  I just take Baker’s Dipping Chocolate (I used semi-sweet), melt it in the microwave, then dip strawberries and let them set for 15 minutes in the fridge.  Easy peasy!

I was trying to see if Chloe would be my Valentine today, but she wasn’t interested.  🙂

This was the best shot we could get, with my closed eyes and her squirming to get away.  🙂

Good night!
